ABOUT
Sophia DiLeo (she/her/hers) is an award winning actor, teacher, and singer. She holds a B.M. in Music Education and M.M. in Voice Performance from the University of Delaware, where she developed her passions for teaching, performing, and arts advocacy. During her graduate degree, she trained as a lyric soprano and in musical theater with renowned pedagogue and soprano, Dr. Noël Archambeault.

While she still regards choral music as her first love, she has had the opportunity to travel and perform opera, gospel, jazz, and musical theater repertoire. She has been recognized for her talents in musical theater and contemporary popular music by the National Association of Teachers of Singing, and recently honored by the Classical Singers Competition as a semi-finalist in the Musical Theater Professional category. Recent roles include Judas in Godspell and Adrian in ROCKY.

Sophia currently serves as the Young Artist Program Director, the interim Choral Manager at the Choir School of Delaware, and actively performs in the Greater Philadelphia region.

When she isn't teaching or performing, Sophia particularly enjoys attending baseball games, songwriting, and hanging with her cat, Maggie.
